Nervous-system-first dog care in Cottonwood Heights
Grooming, pack hikes, sound baths, and boarding for Cottonwood Heights dogs, with honest routes around the watershed closures.
Mountain-close attention for Cottonwood Heights companions
Cottonwood Heights is about fifteen minutes from my Millcreek base down I-215, and it is the neighborhood where I have the most useful thing to say. You live closer to the mountains than almost anyone in the valley, and your dog has fewer legal trails than almost anyone in the valley.
Both Big and Little Cottonwood Canyons are protected watershed and closed to dogs completely, which surprises a lot of people who just moved in. Ferguson Canyon is the local exception and it is a good one. For longer days I bring Cottonwood Heights dogs north to Millcreek Canyon, where the rules are friendlier and the group can spread out.
