Pet Sitting and Boarding
Two ways to keep your companion animal comfortable and regulated: I stay in your home, or up to two dogs stay in mine.
Care that keeps your companion at ease
Being away from home is hard on animals who thrive on routine. A new place, or a stranger who does not read them well, can leave a sensitive companion anxious and unsettled.
I offer two ways to keep that steady. I can stay in your home, so your animals hold their normal rhythm in the space they know. Or up to two dogs can board with me, in a calm house where they are not one of a crowd. Either way, feeding, movement, comfort, and connection continue as if you never left.
You come home to a calm animal and a home that was treated with respect.

What pet sitting and boarding include
- House sitting in your home, so your animals keep their normal rhythm
- Boarding in my home for up to two dogs
- Every-other-day check-ins at your house while your dog stays with me, for plants, lights, trash, and mail
- Small, well-behaved companion animals only
- Steady routines for feeding, movement, and comfort
- Genuine connection and presence, not just a quick drop-in
- A signed service agreement and clear expectations
- Updates so you know your companion is well
Included in the day rate: bringing in the mail, taking out the trash, rotating the lights, and watering the lawn and plants. The only extras are $5 per additional pet per day, in your home or mine, and a mileage fee for anything more than 5 miles from my home.
Cats are a higher rate because there is more to take into consideration when they stay in their own territory: doors and windows, litter, food, medications, and all the small details that matter for feline safety and stress.
If your dog is staying in my home, I can check your house every other day for plants, lights, trash, and mail at no extra charge. Travel between your home and mine is billed at my mileage fee, and travel fees also apply if I need to care for other animals outside your home.
If I am staying in your home, I usually do not bring my own dogs, because most people and leases do not allow extra animals. There may be a small additional fee to cover the time and mileage for me to go home and care for my own dogs between visits.
Pet sitting requires a signed client agreement and veterinary release. You can complete both online before your first visit.
