At Shanti & Me, pet sitting is offered with a calm, holistic approach that pays attention to your dog’s routine, energy, personality, and well-being.

Standard pet sitting is done in my home in Millcreek, where your dog stays in a peaceful, nurturing environment instead of a loud or crowded facility. I maintain familiar routines, provide gentle handling, and ensure your dog feels secure throughout their stay.

For dogs who need it, I also offer the option to stay in the client’s home.

When Is Pet Sitting Necessary?

Pet sitting is ideal when you want your dog to receive hands-on care while you travel, work long hours, or need support beyond quick drop-ins. It is especially helpful for dogs who:

• Prefer consistent interaction instead of being left alone
• Feel stressed or overstimulated in boarding kennels
• Need medication or special routines
• Benefit from calm, holistic care instead of high-energy group environments

Dogs who already join me for grooming or hiking often adjust quickly because they recognize the space, scent, and energy of my home.

What Is Required For Pet Sitting?

Before booking, I gather information about your dog’s temperament, medical needs, routines, and sensitivities so I can care for them appropriately. I require a completed pet sitting agreement, veterinary release form, and clear instructions for feeding, medication, and daily routines.

Pricing:
• Overnight pet sitting starts at $80 per night
• Standard overnights are in my home
• Staying in the client’s home is also available at the same starting rate
• Additional pets are $5 per night each
• Cat care follows the same overnight structure
• Special medical arrangements (such as kidney support or other needs) are priced individually based on complexity

When I stay in a client’s home, I also handle simple household tasks like rotating lights, bringing in mail, watering plants, and taking trash cans in or out. This helps your home feel lived-in and cared for while you are away.

Every stay is designed to provide steady connection, routine, and emotional comfort for your dog.
